Yvan Torrente

The Torrente lab’s main objective is to investigate potential stem cell therapies for neuromuscular diseases. The group has a wealth of expertise in the biological characteristics of adult tissue stem cells. They have recently concluded a clinical investigation into the effects of intramuscular transplantation of blood-derived stem cells into Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients.
