Freddy Radtke

The expertise of the Radtke team is in using mouse genetics to investigate the role of developmental signaling pathways in multiple self-renewing tissues, such as the blood, skin and gut. They have recently shown that the Notch signaling cascade is essential in determining how stem cells behave during repair of the corneal epithelium. The group also has experience in gene profiling of rare stem cell populations.
