David Sassoon

Current research interests in the Sassoon group range from the role of Wnt genes in smooth muscle development, to the identification of novel gene pathways shared by cell stress responses and stem cell specification. The group is also investigating the link between skeletal muscle’s ability to properly integrate stem cells, and its resistance to secondary tumor formation.
